Our Story
Nicole and Joe were introduced in January 2024 by their mutual friend, Ryan Heller—who will also serve as best man. What began with a first date of duckpin bowling quickly grew into something lasting, and they have been together ever since.
Their engagement photos were taken in Nicole’s neighborhood, Fountain Square—a place that has become central to their story. It is where they spend much of their time, sharing meals at the great restaurants, exploring breweries, and enjoying concerts together.
As they look ahead, Nicole and Joe are excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
The Engagement
Four months before proposing, Joe drove six hours to Jackson, Tennessee, to personally ask Nicole’s father for her hand.
In July, during a trip to Mackinac Island, Joe led Nicole through the gardens of the Grand Hotel and proposed. While Nicole suspected a proposal might be coming, the thoughtfulness of the location and planning made it a complete surprise.
